Charitable Giving
We are proud to announce that this year we will support CAMARADA, a non-profit organization
which is a welcome centre for migrant women and their young children.
We believe that there are many similarities with the AIWC as one of our
goals is also to welcome and support newcomers to Geneva.
The centre provides services to almost 700 women and helps with the
process of integration into life in Switzerland through different
apprenticeships and workshops. This assistance includes teaching French
as well as basic skills in math, writing and reading to provide a
foundation to learning job skills. With increased self esteem and
confidence the women at CAMARADA are better able to cope with their
life and families here in Geneva.

Endowment
Fund of Friends of the AIWC
The Endowment Fund which was established in 2004 was set up to
secure the foundation of the Club and a stable future. It not only
supports the ongoing financial requirements of the AIWC and its
outreach efforts in
Geneva but allows the club to expand and develop in order to serve both
its members and the wider Geneva community as a vibrant and dynamic
organization.
