Who are we
Bazaar
committee 2007
The American International Women’s Club
is an English speaking club open to women of all nationalities and has
been active in Geneva for many years. Next year, in 2008, the AIWC will
celebrate its 50th anniversary. The Club, with over 600 members from
more than 40 countries, has a three fold mission:
- to offer a place to
meet and activities for all its members,
- to offer help and information
for those new to the Geneva area and
- to participate actively in Geneva
life through community service and donations to select charities.
The Grand Autumn Bazaar was originally conceived to give AIWC members a
chance to work together on a fundraising project which would be fun and
close to the holiday season. Since its inception in 2004 the Bazaar has
grown steadily bigger and stronger. A portion of the proceeds from each
bazaar goes to support a Geneva based non-profit organisation.
